Rhys had his 2nd birthday on Saturday! These last two years have flew
by, and Rhys has turned into such a little boy. He is no longer my cute
little baby. His personality has really come out these last few months
and his vocabulary has really increased. He is a mischievous little
thing, who is so funny. He most certainly doesn't let Kieran push him
around either. He is definitely our dare devil and is not afraid of
anything and loves pushing my buttons. He know exactly what he wants
and will let you know if things aren't going his way. He loves puzzles,
trains, and cars. He puts together his train track almost everyday.
Thomas the Train is his favorite! His new favorite song is We are young
by FUN, and dances, and sings it every time he hears it. We just love
Rhys piece and are so glad he is a part of our family.
Johnathan made the cake and I assisted. I think he did a great job!
Kieran, Lyla, Rhys, Gigi watched a movie in our bed the end of the night.
The Easter Bunny came Saturday night! Kieran was so excited, and Rhys kind of got it this year and loved hunting for eggs! Kieran had so many questions about the bunny, is he big or little, clean or dirty, does he go in people houses? And those are just a few of them.
I thought it would be a fun activity to dye Easter eggs with the kids. They loved it and the activity was done in about 2 minutes. Rhys dropped most of the eggs in the dye leaving Kieran with two eggs which he dropped on the floor while trying to put them in the dye with that silly metal thing. Then Rhys thought it was hilarious to dump out one of the dyes on the floor. The finished eggs and my two silly boys!
When Johnathan was in Ohio for 2 weeks training for his new job we went to Idaho for a week so we wouldn't be so lonely. I didn't take many photos but we had a great time. The kids love spending time with family.
Being silly on the plane
We sure miss the Streett's! It was so nice to see them again.
Our newest niece Grabriella. Kieran was really sweet with her it was really cute.
We went to the Idaho Aquarium.
Kieran Rhys and Natan who is 2
I met up my my good friend from high school Tiffany whom I hadn't seen in years. It was so good to see her again and meet all her kids.
All our kids together
Kieran had a tiny scrape and put those band aids on and thought it was so funny
We went to Aunt Treva's house to feed the ducks and squirrels.
Cousins Beau and Scarlett
Rhys loved Scarlett. It was pretty cute.
We had a fire in grandma's fire pit, and roasted marshmallows for smore's the kids loved it. little mommy Scarlett and Kieran with Gabriella.
Johnathan's mom has a cute little size 2 kilt that all the grandkids get to wear when they are 2. Rhys was the lucky one this year. He wore it to church, he looked so cute. I tried taking his picture outside but it was way to windy for him.My birthday cake decorated with love by the kids:) I had a great birthday, Johnathan spoiled me as usual! That night our family went to the drive-in movie to see the Lorax on my birthday. Great times, and good memories with the kids!
Johnathan's sister and her family were in town for a family reunion with her husband Todd's family. So we met up with them one of the days at Disneyland. The kids had so much fun together. Sorry little Maren I didn't get a picture of you and you are soo cute!
That guy was sleeping and Kieran went and laid behind him like he was sleeping, of course he moved for the picture. It was pretty funny though.
We took our annual trip to Arizona for Spring Training. It was so fun as usual, and the weather was perfect. We went to two Dodger games and an Angel game. The kids were so excited to go they had their hats on and a ball in hand and were running into the stadium, so cute. My good friend Krista from High School lives their so I get to see her and her boyfriend Zubari every time we go. The kids loved swimming in the hotel pool. Rhys was a little fish and wasn't scared at all which made me a little nervous. He has no fears and is not cautious at all unlike his brother. We walked around old town, farmers market and got some lunch before one game. These two fought over who got to pull their bag all the time, I guess I need them their own:) I love my 3 boys love for baseball. Let's hope for a good season, GO DODGERS!
